ABOUT YOGOMAN BURNING BAND
Yogoman Burning Band is a live original celebration dance band out of Bellingham, WA founded in 2005 by Band Leader/Conductor/Songwriter Jordan Rain/YOGOMAN, a world class drummer and highly dynamic singer who leads his band while singing from the drum kit. KEYS/MELODICA/PERCUSSION/VOCALS
BUCK RAIN
Yogoman's son Buck Rain is a multi instrumentalist and vocalist with YBB officially since 2021. Watching Buck’s talent unfold on stage with the band is magical. He's always been a piano man from an early age as well a natural on the drums since he played his first show with his ma and pa, Yogoman & Bongo Jac at a festival in New Orleans at age 3. Prepare to be captivated by this young man and his infectious spirit.
Congas, Afro Cuban percussion
OSCAR DE LA ROSA
Originally from Puerto Rico, long time Seattle Afro Cuban master Conga/percussionist Oscar De La Rosa is locked in with Yogoman drums like a clock that's dripping with timeless unstoppable Funk, Soul Latin, African & Carribean sensibilities. Oscar is one of the sweetest people on the planet and we are honored to have on board with and another family connection within the band with his son Giovanni on Bass.
Electric Bass Guitar
GIOVANNI DE LA ROSA
With a joyful presence not known to many, we are proud to have Gio rocking the Bass and bringing his infectious vibe to the band that brings the fire. As bassist for Ebb, Slack & Flood for many years running the Funk, Blues and Reggae genres, as well as being an accomplished Afro Cuban percussion with his papa Oscar, Gio's low end theory gives a great warmth and body for Yogoman's fiery beats to burn! Pass the GiO
ELECTRIC GUITAR
TYLER CLARKE
Tea Sea, as he's known around the Pacific Northwest, is Yogoman Burning Band's original guitarist, weaving cinematic soulful guitar lines, rocksteady rhythms and ecstatic improvisations into the fabric of the Burning Band's unfolding motion picture. Tea Sea will take you to places you've never seen before, as a man of mystery, comfortable with in the great unknown, leaving you on the edge of your seat.
ELECTRIC GUITAR
Tom Savage
Tom is definitely a savage on the guitar and yet knows how to tame the wild beast that is his six string! Well known in Anacortes and regionally for his work with Ebb, Slack & Flood, Tom brings excellent musicianship and style that fits so effortlessly into the mission from Yog: to move feets, butts and souls while having a blast!
TROMBONE
WILLIAM Kovacevic
Kovachavic's style on the trombone is punchy and accurate yet unafraid of a good melody, which is rare these days in the world of brass players. His tone is sweet and solid, going straight to the heart, while tickling the hairs on the back of your neck. You know you're in for some sweet bends and round houses with William on the Burning Band trombone.
Backround/Harmony Vocals
ANGIE WEST
With a history in Pop and Gospel music in the Pacific Northwest, Angie brings beautiful tone and a warmth to the Burning Band's overall sound. As well as being a full time vocal teacher, and upholsterer, she has written some amazing songs and music of her own we hope to hear when she's ready to release it. Angie's sweet presence and blend with Yogoman and the other singers is the perfect heat for a steady burn and hot accents in the mix.
