We topped off a full weekend of fun with two beer-centric performances in Astoria. Kicking off our Sunday double-header was a performance at the Pacific Northwest Brew Cup. It was raining hardily when we arrived, but that didn't seem to damper anyone's mood at all. Fun with Yogo-heads delighted the crowd, complete with zany dancing throughout.As day turned to night, the rain picked up and so did the wind. We experienced a solid downpouring matched with 50mph winds as we approached showtime at the Fort George Brewery. We began to wonder if our oceanside motel would be our final destination. But we marched on to the front desk to check out one of 36 copies of The Goonies, because that's what you do when you visit Astoria. We then proceeded to the brewery... and they did not disappoint! Great food, great beer, great atmosphere and superior service. Fort George loved us and we loved them right back. We like each other so much that we will be revisiting for a FREE Halloween Bash on October 31st. Let the party continue!
